Giacomo Carnevali
Classical Pianist - Lieder Player
He studied piano with M. Parolini and M. G. Bellocchio at the conservatory in Bergamo where he graduated.
In 2016/2017 he was admitted to the Call for Young Performers organized by Divertimento Ensemble, dedicated to the piano repertoire of G. Kurtág.
In 2018 he attended, with the composer S. Gervasoni, a masterclass dedicated to his compositions, performing Prés I.

His passion for the voice led him to deepen the Lied - repertoire: in 2019 he is admitted in duo with mezzo-soprano Giulia Taccagni, with whom he plays stably, at the Master of II level in Chamber Vocal Music at the Conservatory G. Verdi of Milan, studying with internationally renowned teachers such as
D. Uccello, S. Doz, R. Abbondanza, L. Marzola, L. Castellani, E. Battaglia, graduating with honors.

He is currently enrolled in the biennium of chamber vocal music at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Turin, in the class of E. Battaglia. He also studied German Lied at the Fiesole Academy.
He attended courses and masterclasses with M. Lindsey and J. Drake.
Awarded in national and international competitions, he has performed, both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles, in numerous concerts including in Milan for Liederiadi at the Palazzina Liberty, Teatro Litta, Museo Teatrale alla Scala, Teatro Pime, Fabbrica del vapore for Pianocity, Museum of the 900, GAM, Circolo Filologico and for Notes in Flight in Malpensa organized by Fazioli; in Bergamo at Sala Piatti for Art2Night and Casa Natale Donizetti for the homonymous Foundation, for the concert season of the Conservatory; in Turin at the Great Hall of the Conservatory; in Como at the Teatro Gioia; in Mantua at the Ducal Palace for the Music Festival on the occasion of Mantua Capital of Italian culture 2016; in Bellagio; for the Baveno Festival Umberto Giordano; in Brugherio at Auditorium Civico and Fondazione Piseri; in Cinisello Balsamo at the Salone Matteotti, Villa Ghirlanda and Teatro Pax; in Cesena at the Teatro Comunale; for various institutions in Modena. He also performed in the Swiss cities of Lugano and Locarno.
He is vice president and piano teacher of the Associazione Giardino della Musica, founded in 2017 in collaboration with the guitarist Raffaele Mezzanotti, and for which he regularly holds concerts.
He was a pianist with the choir "I Cantori di Milano".
Since 2019, she has been working as co- teacher in the class of Lieder and chamber music of S. Doz at Accademia Milano.
In duo with baritone Andrea J. Chen has recorded for TACTUS the LIRICHE DA CAMERA CD, with lyrics by young composers on texts by Pascoli, Carducci, Moretti, Panzini.
